I had intended to put Mystifyingly Glad, my Sunshine/Bubblegum/Baroque/Chamber Pop radio station on hiatus for a few months while I concentrated on other projects. The station has a decent size audience but i need to take a break from those labors of love that cost more dosh than they bring back and Mystifyingly Glad , thanks to my total lack of marketing savvy, doesn't bring back much at all. I'd hoped to return to broadcasting, with a somewhat modified theme, round about Halloween, but everything's gone pear shaped and that won't happen.
Sadly the abysmal customer service I received from station host Live365 has left such a sour taste in my mouth that I can't imagine ever giving them another cent of my money. As a result Mystifyingly Glad will shortly go off the air for good.
Thanks very much indeed to the hundreds of listeners who were kind enough to add me to their pre-sets and especially those kind souls who actually named Mystifyingly Glad their favorite Live 365 station. Your support was, and will always be, warmly appreciated.
On the other hand, in order to cheer myself up I decided to upgrade Why Fidelity's Podcast hosting account with LibSyn which means more frequent and slightly longer editions of WhyFi from now on. So it's not all bad news.
